Mayo Co Board backs O’Mahony

The Mayo Co Board has expressed its desire to see football manager John O'Mahony continue in the job for a third year.

Speaking after the recent defeat to Tyrone, O'Mahony had said he would have to speak to the board to see what its future plans were.

However, he received the backing of the board last night to see out his three-year term if he so wishes.
