Sligo and Galway progress in Ladies Football

In ladies football, Connacht duo Sligo and Galway have advanced to the quarter finals of the Ladies Football championship.

At St Lomans, Mullingar, Sligo won by 3-9 to 2-8 over Kildare, and at Dromard, Galway overcame 2001 champions Laois by 2-15 to 0-10.
