Laois part company with Kearns

Liam Kearns has ended his tenure as manager of the Laois senior football side.

Kearns led Laois to the final of the GAA Leinster SFC final in 2007.

In an interview with RTE radio this morning he cited a lack of support within Laois as one of the main reasons for his decision to step aside.

The Kerry native was previously manager of the Limerick senior football side.
