Louth celebrate place in final
Louth 0-18 Monaghan 1-13 (aet)
Louth today came back from a four-point deficit in normal time at Clones to win through to their first Nicky Rackard Cup final since 2005.
In normal time, Stephen Lambe performed strongly for Monaghan, with three second half points, but top-scorer Diarmuid Murphy (0-08) tormented the hosts - his 71st-minute score ensured extra-time.
A trio of Lambe points gave Monaghan a 1-13 to 0-15 extra-time first half lead, but Louth held Monaghan scoreless for the remainder as points from Shane Fennell and Murphy secured the win.
