Wallace steps down as camogie Director General

Following 22 years at the helm of the Camogie Association, Sile Wallace will retire from the position of Director General on July 31.

The recruitment process to fill the vacant post is set to begin shortly with current Sponsorship and Finance manager Sinead O'Connor due to assume the role of Director General on an interim basis.

The appointment of a new Director General is set to coincide with a review of the full-time administrative structures within Camogie and the function of PR and media along with provincial councils and branding.

The Camogie Association have appointed Atlantic Sports Management and Training to conduct this review.
