Roe calls time
Pat Roe has called time on his stint as Offaly Senior Football manager, in the wake of the Faithful County's disappointing 18-point defeat to Down in the All-Ireland qualifiers on Saturday.
Laois native Roe, who was a dual player for the O'Moore county in the 1980s and 1990s, tendered his resignation this morning to Offaly County Board officials, with the announcement confirmed this afternoon in a statement released by Offaly GAA PRO Brendan Minnock.
