Ryan clocks up scores for victorious Limerick

Ian Ryan rocked Meath with a 3-07 blast as the Royals were sent crashing out of the Senior Football Championship tonight by a fired-up Limerick side this evening.

Ryan's sensational tally, added to by John Galvin's second half goal, saw the Shannonsiders bounce back from their Munster heartbreak.

Brian Farrell and Cian Ward were Meath's only scorers as they trailed by 2-06 to 0-03 at half-time.

Limerick incredibly pulled 20 points clear before Farrell (1-01), substitute Joe Sheridan (2-00) and Stephen Bray (1-00) shared out four late goals.
