Fitzgerald names first Waterford team
Recently-appointed Waterford boss Davy Fitzgerald has named his team for his championship debut as an inter-county manager tomorrow, when the Deise take on Antrim at Walsh Park (throw-in 2pm).
For the All-Ireland SHC second round qualifier, Fitzgerald has made four changes to the Waterford side that lost to his native Clare in the Munster championship.
Ken McGrath, back fit after knee surgery, has been slotted in at full-back in a position that has proved problematic for the Deise.
McGrath takes the number 3 jersey from Kevin Moran after sitting out the Clare game, which was the first championship match he had missed in 13 seasons.
The other changes see Shane O'Sullivan listed at right half-back, indirectly replacing Aidan Kearney, and with Brian Phelan out with a broke arm, Eoin Murphy takes over at right corner back.
The fit-again Eoin Kelly also comes in for the injured Shane Prendergast at right half-forward.
Fitzgerald has made a number of positional switches to the line-up with Tony Browne moving across to centre-back, McGrath's usual position.
Dan Shanahan is re-positioned at full-forward, with dual player Gary Hurney moved back onto the forty, and John Mullane and Eoin McGrath have also swapped positions in the full-forward line.
