Three newcomers in Galway team to face Antrim

Galway hurling boss Ger Loughnane has named three championship newcomers in his team to face Antrim in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers this Saturday.

Galway hurling boss Ger Loughnane has named three championship newcomers in his team to face Antrim in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers this Saturday.

James Skehill, Cyril Donnellan and Joe Canning will all taste championship action for the first time at Casement Park.

Skehill will play in goal, Donnellan is named at centre-forward and rising star Canning makes his bow at corner-forward.

Loughnane has also called up experienced pair Ollie Canning and Eugene Cloonan.
