Brogan and Flynn return for Dublin

After serving their eight-week suspensions, Bernard Brogan and Paul Flynn have both been brought straight back into the Dublin team for Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final against Westmeath (Croke Park, throw-in 2pm).

Brogan comes in for Paddy Andrews at left half-forward, while Flynn is an indirect replacement for Paul Casey.

Former captain Collie Moran reverts to a wing back role, covering Casey's demotion, with Flynn listed at right half-forward.

But there is no starting place for the experienced Ciaran Whelan, who is also back available after the ban he received for his behaviour in the league game with Meath.

Whelan has to be content with a place on the substitutes bench as youngster Eamon Fennell, who impressed against Louth last time out, retains his spot alongside Shane Ryan in midfield.

Tomas Quinn has been named at left corner forward despite doubts over his fitness - he picked up a leg injury at a training session earlier this week.

Sunday's clash will be the 14th championship meeting between Dublin and Westmeath, with the previous results running at 10-3 in the Dubs' favour.

The sides have already met three times this year with Dublin winning in the O'Byrne Cup (1-16 to 1-06) in January and in a NFL Division 2 group game (1-07 to 1-05) in February.

However, Westmeath won the Division 2 final (0-15 to 0-10) in April.

A win this weekend for the Dubs would see them keep on track for their fourth successive Leinster title.
