Duggan a doubt for Cork

Cork manager Conor Counihan has been dealt a further blow to his side's preparations, ahead of the Munster SFC final against Kerry on July 20, following the news that Diarmuid Duggan sustained an injury in a club game.

The defender was playing for his club Ilen Rovers in the Cork senior football championship against Divisional side Seandzn, when he had to exit the field following an injury.

Duggan had made his senior inter-county debut last Sunday against Limerick, holding down the right corner-back position and was one of four debutants for the Rebels.

Already this week Counihan has been left sweating on the fitness of wing-back Paudie Kissane, after he broke his right forearm in the dramatic three-point win over Limerick.
