Cork have received a timely boost ahead of next month's Munster Hurling Championship clash against Tipperary with the return of Jerry O'Connor to action.

The midfielder missed the Rebels' entire league campaign through injury, but scored four points in his club Newtownshandrum's win over Bishopstown at the weekend.
