Dooley looks to land silverware
Exactly 10 years ago Offaly's Johnny Dooley was in the midst of championship preparations in a season that would land the faithful their second All Ireland Senior Hurling title in 4 years.
The Dooley clan backboned what many regard as one of the teams key to reinvigorating hurling in the last decade and now two of the brothers are themselves in intercounty management.
Joe is currently supervising Offaly while Johnny is getting set to make a claim on the Division 2 National Hurling League trophy for Westmeath at the Gaelic Grounds this Sunday in the curtain raiser to the Division One clash of Tipp and Galway.
The faithful legend looking to outsmart Carlow's manager and Wateford native Jim Greene which Johnny says will be no easy task.
