Bonner opts out of Donegal inter-county set-up

Donegal's Ulster Championship hopes have been dealt a blow with the news that Ciaran Bonner is to opt out of the inter-county set-up.

The half-forward, who missed Sunday's defeat to Derry in Letterkenny, says he wants to concentrate on his club form.

The Glenswilly man is understood to have been upset at being substituted against Laois a week after he was omitted from the starting line-up for the game with Tyrone.
