Cork through to semis
Limerick 0-8 Cork 0-13
Cork ensured their presence in the NHL Division 1 hurling semi-finals today as they took control of this all-Munster tie in the second half.
Aided by the elements, Limerick brought a 0-6 to 0-5 lead into the break at the Gaelic Grounds, but they never hit top form.
A collision between Damien Reale and Mark O'Riordan robbed them of any momentum.
Both sides looked rusty, but Cork pressed ahead in the second period with telling points from John Gardiner, Ben O'Connor, Seán Óg Ó hAilpín and Cathal Naughton.
