Kerry back to winning ways in Div 1

Laois 0-12 Kerry 0-16, O'Moore Park

Free-taker Bryan Sheehan landed ten points as Kerry got back to winning ways in NFL Division 1 at O'Moore Park.

Laois led by 0-4 to 0-2 after 13 minutes, however Kerry responded well through Sheehan, Tommy and Donnacha Walsh and held a 0-8 to 0-5 interval lead with MJ Tierney keeping Laois in touch.

Liam Kearns' home side were strongest in the third quarter and cut the gap to five points, with 10 minutes remaining, but a late Tierney penalty miss proved costly.
