Solid win for Kilkenny

Kilkenny 3-22 Antrim 1-8, Nowlan Park

A semi-final-bound Kilkenny rounded off their Division 1A campaign with a comprehensive victory over Antrim at Nowlan Park.

The Cats gained revenge for January's Walsh Cup reversal as second half goals from Aidan Fogarty, Martin Comerford and debutant Damien Fogarty saw them romp home.

Antrim were level at half-time at 1-5 to 0-8 thanks to Paddy Richmond's goal and points from Paul Shields, Richmond and Liam Watson.

But the Saffrons struggled in the second half and their relegation from the top flight was confirmed.
