Cork subject Antrim to rout in second half

ALLIANZ NHL DIVISION 1A: Antrim 1-07 Cork 1-24

A lively second-half display saw Cork take the NHL Division 1A points on offer at Casement Park this afternoon.

Having led 0-9 to 1-5 at half-time, the Rebels brought on Ben O'Connor and the former captain really galvanised the visitors' attack.

Just before the interval, Liam Watson netted from a 20-metre free to get Antrim back in contention, but the Saffrons' scores dried up in the second period.

Watson was also sent-off, three minutes after Cork newcomer Brian Corry's 66th-minute goal.
