Armagh cruise past hapless Roscommon

Stephen McDonnell grabbed a hat-trick of goals as Armagh demolished a poor Roscommon side at Crossmaglen.

McDonnell's 1-5 tally helped the home side turn around with a 1-9 to 0-5 advantage.

Senan Kilbride had opened the scoring for Roscommon but they struggled to get to grips with a fluid Armagh side that included Tony, Stephen and Aaron Kernan.

Ger Heneghan bolstered the visitors' total with some neat frees but second-half goals from McDonnell (2) and substitute Brian Mallon saw Armagh power to victory.
