The highly rated netminder and member of Loch Gorman's 1996 All-Ireland winning side makes his first start of the season in a purple and gold team that sees a re-shuffle of the forwards.

Glynn-Barntown's Michael Doyle comes in at wing forward, Barry Lambert at corner forward and Oulart-the-Ballagh's David Redmond at full forward at the expense of John Breen and David "Doc" O'Connor.
