Players reject latest proposals in Cork GAA row

A solution to the GAA crisis in Cork appears as remote as ever this morning.

Last night, the county's senior hurlers and footballers rejected the latest proposals aimed at ending their stand-off with the Cork County Board.

Instead, they voted to continue their strike action over the way in which selectors are appointed.

The footballers reiterated that manager Teddy Holland and his selection panel must step down before the players can consider returning to action.
