Mayo forced to experiment for FBD League

Some of Mayo's less-known footballers will have a chance to impress manager John O'Mahony when the county's FBD Connacht League campaign begins against NUI Galway on Sunday.

With some players opting out of the new-year competition, others committed to their college football sides and some currently on the treatment table, O'Mahony will be working with a 20-man panel for the provincial league.
