Cork board to meet players on Wednesday

The Cork County Board is to meet representatives from the senior hurling and football panels on Wednesday in a bid to end the stand-off which has seen both panels effectively go on strike.

The players have withdrawn their services in a row over the way management teams, and selectors in particular, are appointed.
