Shanahan named Munster Hurler of Year

Waterford's Dan Shanahan has picked up another honour today after being named Munster Hurler of the Year for 2007.

Kerry's Darragh O'Sé, meanwhile, has been named as the province's Footballer of the Year.

Elsewhere, Tipperary's Philly Fogarty is the Camogie Player of the Year, while Cork's Valerie Mulcahy is Ladies Footballer of the Year.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Glanmire on Friday night.
