Brennan extends sympathy to Breen family

The President of the GAA Mr Nickey Brennan has expressed his shock and sadness at the tragic death of 10-year-old Patrick Breen from Dregish, who died while training with his club Drumquin in Tyrone on Tuesday evening.

Mr Brennan said he was aware that Patrick had a deep love of Gaelic games and that his dream was to some day represent Tyrone. He said that despite their huge loss, he hoped there would be some comfort for the Breen family in knowing that Patrick died playing the game he loved.

He extended his deepest sympathies and those of the Association to Patrick’s family, friends and teammates.
