Kilkenny and Limerick for first time since 1947
For the first time since 1974 Kilkenny and Limerick meet in the All Ireland SHC final.
Since then the Cats have gone on to dominate the game while Limerick have yet to add that 1973 success.
The last championship meeting was two years ago when Kilkenny won an All-Ireland quarter-final by five points.
The Noresiders are chasing their 30th title which would bring them alongside Cork at the top of the honours table.
Kilkenny manager Brian Cody is confident that his side will deliver on the big day.
