Quarter-finals postponed

Following consultation with members of the Management Committee and Central Competitions Control Committee, the GAA has issued a statement this lunch-time confirming the postponement of Sunday's triple bill of All-Ireland hurling quarter-finals at Croke Park.

The decision was taken at the request of the Kilkenny County Board and as a mark of respect to the late Vanessa McGarry, the wife of Kilkenny senior goalkeeper James McGarry, who was tragically killed in a road traffic accident yesterday.
