Laois manager Damien Fox has made seven changes in personnel to his team for Saturday's All-Ireland SHC qualifier visit of Clare (Portlaoise, throw-in 3pm).
The players to make way are goalkeeper Pat Mullaney, defender Conor Dunne, midfielders Joe Phelan and Shane Dollard and forwards Willie Hyland, JJ McHugh and Philip Russell.
Into the side come goalkeeper Tony Doran, left half-back John Walsh, midfielders James Walsh and Dermot McGill and centre-forward Brendan McEvoy and corner forwards Damien Bergin and Eamonn Jackman.
In a notable positional switch, Laois' top scorer this summer, James Young, has been moved from centre-forward to full-forward. The Clonaslee attacker is currently the fourth top scorer in the 2007 hurling championship with 1-25.
Laois are out of contention for a place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals after qualifier defeats to Galway and Antrim, but they will hope to end the series on a high with a determined performance against Group 1A leaders Clare.
