Tipp come from behind to beat Dublin

Dublin 1-11 Tipperary 1-20, Parnell Park

Tipperary ensured their presence in the All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals as they came from behind to beat Dublin at Parnell Park.

Despite losing Eoin Kelly to a first half groin injury and conceding a 43rd-minute goal to Pedar Carton, Tipp emerged as victors.

Babs Keating's men led 0-8 to 0-6 at the break with Lar Corbett hitting three points. Dublin keeper Gary Maguire stopped a first half penalty from Willie Ryan and Carton's strike gave the Metropolitans added hope.

Yet Tipp were soon ahead again with Corbett goaling and Ryan, Francis Devanney, Darragh Egan and Benny Dunne adding the clinching points.
