Moran on full-back duty for Deise

De La Salle clubman Kevin Moran will start at full-back for Waterford in Sunday's Munster SHC final against Limerick (Semple Stadium, throw-in 4pm).

Deise boss Justin McCarthy has made just one change to the team that beat Cork in last month's semi-final, with Moran drafted into the defence and James Murray the player to make way.

Moran's inclusion sees Declan Prendergast move to centre-back and Ken McGrath switching to left half-back, Murray's berth for the 5-15 to 3-18 victory over Cork.

McCarthy has also chopped and changed his midfield and attack with team captain Michael 'Brick' Walsh and Stephen Molumphy paired together in a new-look midfield and Jack Kennedy now positioned at left corner forward.

Eoin Kelly, who scored 1-5 against Cork, and Seamus Prendergast have swapped positions with Kelly now stationed at full-forward, and former skipper Paul Flynn will don the number 12 jersey.

Waterford, the reigning National League champions, are seeking their first Munster title win since 2004 and their third in six seasons.

The Deise beat Cork in the 2003 and 2004 finals, but it is 73 years since they were paired with Limerick in a Munster championship decider.
