Paul Curran will make his first start of the 2007 championship when Tipperary take on Dublin in Saturday's All-Ireland SHC qualifier (Parnell Park, throw-in 3pm).
Curran, an All-Star nominee last year, returns to the Tipp defence after recovering from a broken toe.
