Moore doubtful for Galway qualifier

Galway may have to do without defender Fergal Moore for next Saturday's All-Ireland SHC qualifier clash with Laois in Portlaoise.

Moore has been hampered by a hamstring injury and has missed a series of training sessions.

The Turloughmore clubman, who was recalled to the Galway panel this year by Ger Loughnane, seems set to miss the Tribesmen's opening qualifier but should be fully fit for their trip to Clare on July 7.

Loughnane is also monitoring the fitness of midfielder-cum-forward Fergal Healy who has a slight calf problem.
