Rafferty doubtful for Leinster semi
Offaly are expected to be without Ger Rafferty for Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final against Dublin as the St Rynagh's clubman is nursing a knee injury.
Rafferty, who was stationed at right corner-back for Offaly's quarter-final win over Carlow, sustained suspected medial knee ligament damage during a training session with the Faithfuls' panel. A scan should confirm his absence for this weekend's Croke Park clash.
Manager Pat Roe names his side for the Dublin game tomorrow night with left corner back James Keane seemingly another absentee. Keane has not resumed training since injuring his ankle against Carlow on June 10.
Also on Offaly's injury list are Thomas Deehan (hamstring) and Paul McConway (leg), but both are only slight concerns.
The Leinster Council are expecting an attendance of 70,000 for Sunday's match at headquarters, which is a repeat of last year's Leinster final.
