O'Leary and Murphy give Cork a boost

Noel O'Leary and Nicholas Murphy are expected to be fit to play for Cork in Sunday's NFL Division 1A match against Fermanagh (Clones, throw-in 3.30pm), having both been named in the starting side.

For the must-win clash in Clones, Cork manager Billy Morgan has stuck with the team that lost 1-12 to 2-8 to Mayo last weekend.

Wing back O'Leary picked up an ankle injury in that defeat but is expected to face the Ernesiders.

All-Star midfielder Murphy, who missed the Rebels' win over Tyrone last month due to the 'flu, should also start despite a niggling knee injury.

Owen Sexton and Sean O'Brien, who were both substituted in the deflating loss to Mayo, have retained their places in the side at right corner back and right half-forward respectively.

Big Glanmire clubman Michael Cussen, who proved a handful in the early stages against Mayo, will get another chance to impressive at full-forward.

Cork are second from bottom in Division 1A and are in desperate need of a win this weekend against their fellow strugglers.
