Dubs unchanged for Mayo test

Dublin manager Paul Caffrey has the comfort of naming an unchanged starting side for Sunday's NFL Division 1A clash with Mayo (Castlebar, throw-in 3.30pm), but Alan Brogan and Ciaran Whelan remain injury doubts.

Brogan (back) and Whelan (leg) have picked up knocks in recent weeks and both players missed last Saturday's hammering of Fermanagh at Parnell Park.

A decision on their fitness for the trip to Mayo will be made later in the week.

The Dubs will be hoping to gain some revenge on Mayo for their All-Ireland SFC semi-final defeat last August, while they lost 1-10 to 0-3 on their last league visit to Castlebar in February 2004.

There is one positional switch to the team that started against Fermanagh - Conal Keaney, who began last time out at top of the right, has been named at wing forward. The swap sees Bernard Brogan move to right corner forward.

Mark Vaughan, who came on as a substitute against Fermanagh and had a hand in Dublin's third goal, is unavailable for the Mayo game due to exams.

DUBLIN (NFL v Mayo) - S Cluxton; D Henry, R McConnell, P Griffin; B Cahill, B Cullen, G Brennan; D Magee, S Ryan; C Moran (capt), J Sherlock, C Keaney; B Brogan, K Bonner, T Quinn.

Substitutes: J Leonard, N O'Shea, C Goggins, P Casey, S O'Shaughnessy, J Magee, D O'Callaghan, D Murray, D Connolly.
