The Cork team to take on Mayo in Saturday's must-win NFL Division 1A clash at Pairc Ui Rinn, throw-in 7.30pm, shows three changes to the side that lost to Dublin last time out.

A shoulder injury has ruled Donnacha O'Connor out of contention and his place at full-forward has gone to Glanmire clubman Michael Cussen.

Cussen, who helped Cork qualify for an All-Ireland Under-21 semi-final in 2005, scored a point as a substitute in the recent 1-13 to 0-7 loss to Dublin.

Cork boss Billy Morgan has named Alan O'Connor at centre forward and Kevin McMahon on the left flank, with Daniel Goulding and Dermot Hurley the players to drop down to the bench.

McMahon missed the Dublin hame due to a bout of the 'flu.

Munster champions Cork are second from bottom in the Division 1A table and are craving a win over their Connacht counterparts - their only league success to date came last month at home to Tyrone (0-15 to 0-7).

CORK (NFL v Mayo) - P O'Shea; O Sexton, M Shields, K O'Connor; N O'Leary, G Spillane, A Lynch; N Murphy, D Kavanagh; S O'Brien, A O'Connor, K McMahon; J Masters, M Cussen, K O'Sullivan.
