Ballyhale Shamrocks strolled past Loughrea to win the All Ireland Club Hurling final by 3-12 to 2-8 in front of over 25,000 spectators at Croke Park.

Ballyhale Shamrocks strolled past Loughrea to win the All Ireland Club Hurling final by 3-12 to 2-8 in front of over 25,000 spectators at Croke Park.

Ballyhale led 1-9 to 0-7 thanks to a great goal in the 22nd minute from half forward TJ Reid.

In the second half, three minutes after the restart Patrick Reid found the net for Ballyhale's second goal, putting further difference between the sides.

The final stages of the game saw a glut of goals as Vinny Maher scored for Loughrea.

Patrick Reid grabbed another goal for Ballyhale which sealed their victory although Johnny Maher scored for Loughrea in the final minutes with a free kick.
