Tyrone are set to launch an appeal after the Ulster Council's Competitions Control Committee (CCC) ruled that the the Red Hand County had committed a player eligibilty offence in relation to this year's Dr McKenna Cup final.

Tyrone boss Mickey Harte is vexed by the decision as it comes almost a full month after his side comfortably beat Donegal 2-9 to 0-5 in the McKenna Cup final.
