Cork could lose Quirke for another two months

Valley Rovers clubman Alan Quirke could be facing another two months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a troubling hip injury.

Goalkeeper Quirke, an All Star nominee in 2006, has been missing from the Cork senior football team since the start of the year, although he did line out for the 2006 All Stars in January's exhibition match in Dubai.
