Having impressed in their defeat of Sligo last time out, the Royals will bid to keep their promotion bid on track against bottom side Tipperary.

Coyle is continuing his drive to create competition for places - he made six changes to his team for the Sligo game.

Despite a noteworthy display against the Yeats' men, Cormac McGuinness has lost his place in the full-back line to his Navan O'Mahony's colleague Stephen MacGabhann.

With captain Anthony Moyles moving from midfield to centre-back, the Meath management have plumped for an all-O'Mahony's centre-field pairing in Mark Ward and Kevin O'Reilly.

Moyles' inclusion at centre-back sees Caoimhin King move to the right wing to take over from Seamus Kenny.

There is a new half-forward line in Stephen Bray, Joe Sheridan and Peter Curran, while Graham Geraghty has be repositioned to right corner-forward, with Niall McLoughlin, Rory Maguire and Charles McCarthy the players to make way.

Meath won the sides' last clash in the league two years ago, coming away from Clonmel with a 0-14 to 1-7 victory.
