Walsh gets Deise Chance

Fourmilewater clubman Shane Walsh will make his first competitive start for Waterford this Sunday as the Deise clash with their Munster rivals Cork in NHL Division 1A (Walsh Park, throw-in 2.30pm).

Walsh has been a member of the Waterford senior panel since 2005 but he failed to feature last season - the 24-year-old comes in to replace John Mullane (broken finger) at right corner forward this weekend.
