Three players saw red as Kerry claimed their second Division 1A win at Breffni Park, defeating Fermanagh by 0-08 to 1-12.

The All-Ireland champions finished with 13 men as Kieran Donaghy and Ronan S Flatharta were both sent-off by referee Michael Hughes.

Donaghy offloaded for Mike Frank Russell to smash home a twelfth-minute goal.

Bryan Sheehan's six-point haul helped Kerry lead 1-7 to 0-2 at half-time, but Donaghy received a straight red for kicking out at his marker before the break.

Ciaran O'Reilly and Eamonn Maguire kept Fermanagh ticking with scores before S Flatharta (59 minutes) and Fermanagh 'keeper Christopher Breen (62) were also dismissed.
