New Laois manager Damien Fox watched his charges claim their second win of 2007 to set up a Walsh Cup semi-final against Wexford.

A point from Dublin midfielder John McCaffrey split the sides at the break, 0-10 to 0-9, after they had been level six times.

A 55th-minute goal from substitute Noel Costelloe helped Laois take control and despite a late green flag from Dublin wing forward Keith Dunne, the midlanders, for whom James Young (0-6) top-scored, won out.
