Leitrim boss to sit out Sligo clash
Leitrim's senior footballers will be without the support of their manager Dessie Dolan snr for Sunday's Connacht FBD League tie with Sligo.
Dolan, the father of the Westmeath star of the same name, is currently resting up in hospital after a bout of bronchitis.
He missed Leitrim's 0-7 to 0-4 loss to Galway last weekend due to the illness and will also sit out their trip to Markievicz Park in three days' time.
Leitrim are currently third in Section B of the FBD League.
Current construction work on their home ground, the 13,500-capacity Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada, will see a new 3,000-seater stand put in place for May.
Dolan's charges open their Connacht championship account away to London on May 27.
