Quartet get All-Stars call
Four footballers have been chosen to jet out to Dubai in two weeks' time as replacements on the Vodafone-sponsored GAA All-Stars tour.
Armagh duo Paul Hearty and Aaron Kernan, fit-again Cork defender Graham Canty and Laois sharpshooter Ross Munnelly have all been invited to take part in the popular early season trip.
Kerry's Diarmuid Murphy and Marc O Sé, Philip Jordan of Tyrone and Armagh attacker Ronan Clarke, who is injured, are all unavailable to travel to Dubai.
The All-Star teams, who will be managed by All-Ireland winning bosses Mickey Harte (2005) and Jack O'Connor (2006), will fly out with the touring party on Tuesday, January 23, ahead of the exhibition match which takes place at the Polo Grounds on Saturday, January 27.
The visit by the All-Stars is the highlight of the annual Gulf Gaelic Games Tournament, which takes place in Dubai on January 26 and 27.
The All-Star footballers also paid Dubai a visit when the tours resumed in 2001.
