Mayo to cruise into new season

New Mayo senior football manager John O'Mahony is hoping a well-timed trip to America and the Caribbean will have his players primed for the new season.

Twenty players from last year's Connacht championship-winning panel, as well as a handful of Mayo County Board officials, are set to fly out to New York on Saturday to kickstart the well-earned break.
