Kildare County Board approves new stadium development

The Kildare County Board has given the go-ahead for the development of a new GAA stadium in Newbridge.

The move will see St Conleth's Stadium relocated from the centre of Newbridge to a new site on the edge of the town.

The new facility will have 5,800 seats and room for 17,700 standing supporters.
