O'Mahony appointed Mayo football Manager

John O'Mahony is back at the helm of the Mayo Senior Footballers after being unveiled as manager - as expected - following a county board meeting last evening.

O'Mahony is taking up the reins for a second time, having steered his native county to the 1989 All-Ireland Final

He also led Galway to All-Ireland glory in 1998 and 2001

He has signed up for a three-year term, along with his backroom team of Kieran Gallagher, Tommy Lyons, and Martin Carney.
