John O'Mahony has been announced as the new Mayo senior football manager at a special press briefing tonight.

The Kilmovee man, who teaches at St. Nathy's College in Ballaghaderreen and who is also a Fine Gael candidate for next year's General Election, was officially unveiled at the briefing in the Welcome Inn Hotel in Castlebar.
