O’Connor names unchanged Kerry team
Kerry manager Jack O’Connor has named an unchanged team for Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Munster champions Cork at Croke Park (throw-in 4pm).
O’Connor has kept faith with the side that beat Ulster kingpins Armagh by 3-15 to 1-13 last time out.
That means that the 6ft 5in Kieran Donaghy retains his place at full-forward, while Sean O’Sullivan is kept at right half-forward after an impressive performance in the quarter-final.
O’Sullivan’s inclusion means his namesake Darren O’Sullivan, the former minor star who came off to bench to nab the third goal against Armagh, remains on the bench, alongside team captain Declan O’Sullivan.
Bryan Sheehan, who is nursing an ankle ligaments injury, is a notable absentee from the substitutes.
Colm ‘Gooch’ Cooper will skipper Kerry for the second time this weekend.
